Kevin
S. Frederick began his professional career in the banking industry
in 1989, working for three years with Hibernia National Bank in Baton
Rouge and New Orleans, Louisiana. His experience as a Commercial and
Real Estate Credit Analyst, and as a Special Assets Commercial and
Industrial Loan Officer, provides him with insight and understanding
of the needs and demands of major corporate and public entities, as
well as individuals. This background would prove invaluable in Kevin’s
formation of his own law firm.
After returning to college and earning his law degree
in 1995, Kevin began his legal career in Monroe, Louisiana with the
firm of Crawford & Anzelmo. He returned to south Louisiana in 1997
and became associated with the firm of Briney & Foret. On June
3, 2004, Kevin opened the doors of the Frederick Law Firm, combining
nine years of legal experience with his background in the financial
and business sectors to create a successful insurance defense and corporate
law firm.
Kevin’s primary practice areas include the
defense of commercial and general liability, automobile and trucking
liability, premises liability, product liability and workers’ compensation
claims. He is licensed and practices in all State and Federal District
and Appellate Courts in Louisiana. He also practices before the Louisiana
Department of Labor’s Office of Workers’ Compensation.
Kevin and his wife, Carolyn, reside in Lafayette
and are the parents of three sons, Thomas, John Taft and Henry.
